Everything is going really well - Joey is an excellent baby! Jon and I were blessed with a good sleeper and eater. He pretty much just eats, sleeps and goes potty. We even get to sleep for 3-4 hours straight at night.

The dogs are afraid of him - I've been trying to get some good pictures of them together but they keep running away! They don't like when he cries either - they want us to "fix" it.

We've got some more pictures on the camera, but I'm being lazy right now about downloading and uploading them - keep an eye out this weekend - maybe I'll get around to it!

Hour eight

Becky is into hour eight of labor. She is doing very well despite the
lengthy labor. Baby Linton is not coming out without a fight.

Baby is on the way!

Becky has been admitted to the hospital. Her water broke at about 10:30pm.

Contractions?

I had another appointment for a non-stress test / amniotic fluid index
today...everything is perfect with the baby. They left me hooked up
to the monitors a bit longer as I had a contraction early on. I had a
second contraction about 30 minutes later. The weird part is that I
really didn't feel them! I've been having bad back pain the past week
or so and it just felt like a knot. So maybe baby will arrive before
I'm induced on Wednesday...we'll just have to wait and see!

No News Yet...

Don't worry everyone - we're not going to keep the baby a secret from you!  I still haven't gone into labor yet.  I have another appointment on Monday afternoon for a non-stress test / amniotic fluid index - I'll post something when that is done!  Until then, we're cleaning house today and just watching movies on TV.  My guess is baby won't come until I'm induced on Wednesday evening. 

Happy Valentine's Day!

Well, it doesn't look like I'll have a Valentine's baby! The tests this morning showed everything is perfect with the baby - it's even in the right position - it just doesn't want out yet. I haven't even really had any false labor pains or anything so I guess I'm lucky. More than anything I'm pretty bored...there really isn't anything good on TV and I'm not that ambitious to start any projects. The dogs are confused with me being home - I spend the days letting them in and out and throwing bones and toys around the family room.

D-Day

Today is the big day - due date! And no baby yet...

I had a doctor appointment yesterday and since I hadn't appeared to actively start labor, I am now scheduled to be induced on Wednesday, 2/20, unless baby decides to arrive before then. I have appointments tomorrow (2/14) and Monday (2/18) for a non-stress test with amniotic fluid index - this is normal for anyone over their due date. They are basically going to hook me up to monitors to make sure baby is doing well. It's definitely still very active!

Not Yet...

No baby yet...could be any day now. My official due date is 2/13/08 but I could be early or even late! Jon is supposed to update my site once I go into labor and after the baby is born so stay tuned!
