New Pictures!
Since my memory card was full and we've got the holidays coming up, I decided to finally upload some new pictures! The album below has pictures from mid-August until this past weekend. This includes lots of apple picking, Halloween and more!

Baby Linton 2.0
I have a ton of pics on our camera I need to upload, but figured I'd better at least post my ultrasound pictures! Baby Linton 2.0 is due 2/24/2010 - five days after Joey turns two! We might even end up with a double birthday! It'll probably be late like he was though...we're going to be surprised again so we don't know if its a boy or girl. Don't ask what's what in the ultrasound pics - I suck at reading them. It's just what they gave me! =)

July
I finally stopped being lazy and uploaded pictures from our trip to Evergreen a few weeks ago. We've been busy since we got back, swimming at Kensington and in Joey's backyard pool, going on bike rides and walks with the doggies. My cousin Patrick stayed with us for a few days this week so I could do some cleaning. We all went to Carousel Acres, a petting farm in South Lyon.

Recent Pictures
Joey and I have had a busy summer so far! We've been to the zoo twice, a few town fairs, Kensington a number of times and went up north this past weekend for my cousin's 10th anniversary party. I didn't realize I could be so busy staying home! This week we'll be packing to head up to Evergreen in Canada for a fun week on Lake Huron. I'll try to be better about posting pictures when we get back!

I've been enjoying my first month as a full time stay at home mom - I never realized how busy I'd be! I finally got around to uploading some recent pictures.

We've been a bit busy lately as the weather has gotten nicer, but I did finally get around to uploading some new pictures. You'll notice in the pictures that it snowed April 6 - enough to cover our lawn over again! Joey and I were both pretty sick in March - ear, eye and sinus infections - so not many pictures from then. I also uploaded a video of Joey dancing to his fridge toy - he does this pretty often and it cracks Jon and I up!
Yesterday I was in my best friend's Becky's wedding - the weather was perfect and it was a lot of fun! I'll try to upload those pictures in the next week or so. This Thursday is my last official day of work - I'm sad, yet excited for my new life as a stay at home mom! Hopefully that means you'll see more posts from me!

February Pictures
I finally got around to uploading pictures from Joey's first birthday last month. He also had his first haircut the week before. He really didn't need it, except to trim the baby mullet! There are also some pictures of him playing outside last week when it was warm. He loves to walk and ride his truck, but isn't too sure of the grass.

Trip to Florida
We're back from Florida. =(
The trip started out on an interesting note...when my parents arrived at our house to pick us up for the airport, they were surprised to find that Jon and I had the flu. Joey got it too and was throwing up in the car on the way to the airport. Needless to say, the flight down wasn't much fun. Lucky for us, it was only a 24 hour bug and we were feeling better by Tuesday.
On Tuesday we ventured out to the Magic Kingdom. Joey's favorite attraction was probably the Tiki Room - he liked all the singing birds. He also liked It's a Small World - mostly because there is so much happening. He watched a show at the castle and seemed to enjoy it. He also like the fireworks - he was afraid at first, but once he realized the big booms were ok, he watched in amazement.
Wednesday was cold (40 deg), so we decided to stick back by the hotel most of the day. We did head over to Downtown Disney for some shopping at the WOD. Jon found me a scrapbook that was on sale so I was very happy!
Thursday morning, my mom woke up with the flu. She kicked us out of the room and we decided to brave Animal Kingdom even though it was 20 some deg that morning and the high was only 38. We bundled up in multiple sweatshirts since we left our coats at home. Joey was wrapped up in a blanket we bought on Tuesday so he was nice and toasty. As long as we stayed out of the wind, it wasn't so bad. Joey absolutely LOVED the Lion King show. He was mesmerized by all the singing and dancing. He also had a blast at the Petting zoo, meeting donkeys Jack & Jill and a llama named Dusty that did this weird stretch with his neck that Joey thought was hilarious. We left the park a bit early since it was cold and my dad started not feeling well - he came down with the flu that night. It's not fair though - he felt better after only12 hours...we were all mad at him!
On Friday, we went to Epcot. We started back in the countries and enjoyed lunch in Morocco and Germany. Joey had fun riding the boat in Mexico. He really liked the Figment ride at the Imagination Pavilion. He also liked the jumping water and waterfalls in that area. We went up to the GM VIP area on Test Track. Joey was too little to ride, but he loved watching the cars zoom by. The other highlight of the day was Finding Nemo - Joey loved looking at the fish in the tanks. He would yell at them and they'd all swim over so he'd get all excited. He also liked being out of the stroller and walking along the tanks! He took the most steps he's taken alone outside that night - about 6-7 before he fell.
Saturday morning, we let Joey play in the pools at the hotel. We also went to Becky Myers' house. It's pretty sweet - her living room opens right up into the screened backyard patio with pool. I felt bad for her dog, Oliver. He's a bit skittish, so Beck had him in a muzzle, but Joey kept trying to chase him and pet him like he does to our dogs! =) We went out to lunch and decided to venture to the beach. We went over by Cape Canaveral - there was some sort of shuttle or rocket on one of the launch pads. It was really cold by the water with the wind, so Joey wasn't too happy and the sand was too cold to play in. When he first saw the ocean he thought it was pretty cool though.
On Sunday, we went to Hollywood Studios (formerly known as MGM). Joey loved the car show. He enjoyed Playhouse Disney Live since we watch those cartoons every morning. He even got to meet Handy Manny - he was pumped about that!
We spent Monday morning packing up. Then we headed back over to Downtown Disney to waste some time before our flight. We also took Joey to one of the playgrounds at the hotel (Saratoga Springs).
The flight home was a much better ride for me and Jon. We were happy to come home to "warm" weather. I finally got around to uploading some of the pictures I took. My dad has a ton more and I'll try to get some videos up as well. I've been busy trying to plan for Joey's birthday. We're having a small family party this weekend and then Jon and I will spend the actual day (Thur, 2/19) alone with him. =)

Joey - 11 Months
Wow! I can't believe that in less than a month my baby will be one year old! I posted his latest pictures - 11 months old. He is standing by himself pretty good now, as you can see in one of the pictures. Enjoy!

Christmas & New Year
I've been a bit lazy and haven't uploaded pictures in a while so I decided to take the time tonight. I uploaded three new albums - one before Christmas, when Joey and I went up to Bronner's in Frankenmuth; one from Christmas Eve/Day and one from visiting with friends over the holidays.
Joey finally met Bryce (my best friend and college roommate, Melissa's son) over Christmas - I was so excited! They pretty much ignored each other as babies this age do, but at one point, Joey just crawled right over him like a big oaf! It was pretty funny. And Bryce tried to give Joey his pacifier.
As you can see from the photos, Joey must have been a good boy, because Santa brought him quite a few presents. I also finished up his playroom so we actually have room for the new toys!
On the milestone front, Joey has been pulling himself up since before he could crawl. In early December, he started "cruising" around things once he was up. He got some new toys for Christmas where he can hold on and walk behind - what's really funny is when he gets stuck on a wall or something, he'll throw himself on the floor and tantrum until we get him moving again.
In the past two weeks or so, he's gotten brave and stands all by himself. He doesn't quite stand up in the middle of the room or anything - he pulls himself up on something and then lets go. Tonight, after his bath, Jon gave him his diaper to play with and he was standing by himself inspecting it. Next thing you know, he looks up and takes one step before falling. I have a feeling he'll be walking before his first birthday in just over a month! I'll be glad too - my back could use a break!
